Alvernia Theatre presents 'The Shadow'

Alvernia Theatre presents “The Shadow” by Evgeny Shvarts. Performances will be Nov. 2 through 4 and Nov. 9 through 11 at 8 p.m. and Nov. 12 at 2 p.m. The show is a revival of one the company's most popular shows from the fall of 2010, the first show staged in the newly renovated Francis Hall Theatre. "The Shadow" is a comedy about a scholar who visits a fairy-tale-like kingdom and asks his shadow to woo a princess. The shadow separates from the scholar, and we watch the shadow’s accumulation of power.
